I'm Howard Loosemore, an Australian bird photographer and educator. For over a decade I've been learning, and teaching others, the art of bird photography. My portraits are known for striking feather detail set against natural, soft bokeh, and for a deep love of Western Australia's native flora and fauna.

Bird Photography Tips
These two volumes are my absolute top 100 tips, tricks, and settings to improve your bird photography if you, like me, enjoy photographing birds where you find them.
These tips are generally not location or shot-specific, rather they can be applied in a variety of locations eg. shorebirds, wetlands, bush birds, etc, and for a variety of types of shots eg portraits, landscapes, birds in flight, etc all of which I practice personally and enjoy.
